It originally referred to the Doctor Who episode "Dinosaurs on a Spaceship" which I assume they conceived because they thought it was cool :) I often (but intermittently) tag in book titles, episode titles, etc, mostly so if I want to find an old post it's easy to browse for, even if it's the only post with the tag.
I *also* seem to recall having some plot idea about sentient dinosaurs in a spaceship, but I never followed it any further than one image of a few bipedal dinosaurs of different species arguing in a control room, and I think I never talked about it online (or if I did, I didn't tag it :)).
