jackMe: I want to call our house "Alexandria Tickeybox", but I don't know if George or Nav would like that.
Mum: What's "tickeybox"?
Me: On livejournal, there are often polls, which often have an 'amusing' choice for people who want to vote, but not for any of the 'serious' options. This is often a checkbox aka tickybox, and "tickybox" has come to mean such a gratutious option, and in general, a cute exclamation. I'm uncertain why people derive near-orgasmic pleasure from crying it, but they apparently do.
Mum: If you shared Alexandria with three other people you could call yourselves the Alexandria Quartet.
Me: I disown you.
