Jul. 28th, 2004 02:25 amI went to the Carlton to wish Rich happy birthday, catch up with Jenni(e)s, and as it turned out meet people I haven't seen about for ages and meet in person a lot of people I've met before but may or may not have matched up with names, faces, aliases, LJnames, IRCnames, etc., who I'll attempt to enumerate later.
There's something about the Carlton, it seems to draw geeks. I may be convinced to be dragged along on thursday.
We learnt usefully how to tease people. Jennie can be teased by writing provocative nearly true statements about her on LJ as she can read but not post as she's forgotten her password - just kidding, is behind very restrictive network policies at work. Ace Rimmer can be teased by implying he's like AR after he's shagged someone. Rich can be teased by singing happy birthday to him in a public place.
