If you see a pair of double doors with a laminated label on one saying "Please push this door only" does that mean:

View Answers

Don't pull this door
3 (13.0%)

Don't push the other door
11 (47.8%)

Both
9 (39.1%)

Something else
0 (0.0%)

Edit: The double doors are big glass doors with handles on both sides that look like you can open them either way (and usually you can)

Push only

Someone updated the sign to say "Push only". (Both versions had the opposite on the other side.)

Thank you! I think that's a lot clearer.

For the record, the intended answer was "this door is broken, don't pull it" which wasn't what most people thought (but some people realised). I'm not sure how much my incomplete description distorted the responses.

And for the record, I know because I asked, and sensibly didn't stand around wondering :)

I think, when you think about it from the point of view of the sign writer, I should have been able to guess accurately. It looked like a sign saying "there's a problem", not a sign saying "this way!", so presumably there was a problem with the door the sign was on. That's just not what an extreme pedant thought looking at it :)
