For halloween costume I wanted something to make me tall, I assumed that'd be easy as long as I didn't want to get too fancy, but apparently not. Stilts or platform shoes? Basically just wooden blocks strapped to my feet? Even if that makes it impossible to walk without shuffling, that'd be fine. But stilt-wise, everything on sale seems to be either bucket stilts, where you have to hold them with your hands, or fancy expensive stuff you strap to your legs. I imagined something you could strap to your feet, even if it was clunky. Or platform shoes, but I don't really want to spend money on decent ones if I only wear them once, and hard to buy online. Is there an obvious simple thing to do?
