Tenacious D

The Tenacious D film was cool. I probably should have known anything about them before going, but it worked very well anyway. I had thought it looked promising, despite most of Jack Black's films seeming just annoying, and indeed it worked quite well. He (and Cage) were still a similar sort of character, but had an energy and drive that made me like them, like Bill and Ted

I don't think it's the same classic, but it was reminiscent, and actually had guitar music in :) There were a couple of great funny moments, and film-to-music worked surprisingly well.
