A couple of weeks ago I thought I was off. I had a story like the just so stories, but with more plot -- where Yahweh and Lucifer are simply the first two archangels of eleven and Yahweh eventually blocks Lucifer's slow suborning of the others. It had a good feel, and good metaphysics, and archangels Michael beating up velociraptors but just didn't get written :(

Now I started another just so story -- How the Panther Became. It's not inspired, but (when I have time) proceeded apace.
