I'm stuck in a company full of mobile phone games and in the stationary room there's a half-metre-diamter roll of bubble wrap, and THAT'S what I want to play with. Instead I have to program and post on LJ.

No, they¹ are² devoted to things which move around. Mainly people. Unlike the aforementioned room, devoted to things which don't³.

[1] Or possibly "it". There's one big room with some smaller offices partitioned off by glass walls.
[2] Or possibly "is".
[3] Except paperclips. I've never seen them move per se, but they escape somehow.

But bubble wrap is one of the shiniest substances on earth, and you shouldn't be ashamed of wanting to play with it.

Ooh, come on. You can point out that the words *are* etymologically related (or so OED wags). And you can make fun of me for being a/e-blind. The possibilities for humour are andlass.

And I'm not ashamed. I'm just sad because I can't.
