I feel it time for a bignormous start-of-term party, probably on teh[1] 23rd[2], ie. two weeks from tomorrow ie. saturday-that-everyone-comes-up. If this is confirmed, I'll email invitations next week sometimes. And feel free to select one of the tickybox options to show the poll system's working; it's getting better slowly.

Can you (a) plan to save the date and (b) comment if it'd clash with something obvious or (c) and if you'd prefer it was on the sunday, or another weekend?

Update: and should there be an amusing theme?

The 23rd is the best date to about a month of either side of it. However, it's the day of the Tolkein society AGM, so you'll loose the old gits. And I can't tick any of your boxes. Make me a "the 23rd is about as good as it gets and I have a 50% chance of coming" box :-)

The poll so doesn't cover me :) I'd love to come but am bad at turning up to anything at weekends, as you know, and doubly bad at turning up to weekend stuff when it's almost term and I'm have much to do. So it'll have to me an 'Um, maybe' for now and I'll let you know later :)
