Yeah, I know I'm playing with fire in not defining this, after I went to so much trouble to define everythign else. But I want *something* like this.
It's *sort* of like a manipulation of other-deminsional forces. Asimov had something like it, it's the spacetime of another universe replacing the spacetime of our universe, and in it different laws apply. And also the spacetime is dragged by matter. Except his spacetime just had the strong nuclear force slightly different :)
Did you know the Italian?! :) I like those. How about something like 'otherether' or 'fluxether' -- suggesting that it's equivalent to our ether, but different?
