After a 5-minute trawl on wikipedia, it looks like I'm conceptually primed to prefer:

* Ruby to Python
* Heroku.com (automatic deployment of ruby on rails framework to cloud service via source control) to the absence of Heroku

And yet:

* Django to Ruby on Rails
* MAGIC PONY POWER to absence of MAGIC PONY POWER.[1]

So, um, darn. Any insights?

[1] I know, it seems like every five minutes I scatter a few "I am not making this up" notes randomly around my posts. Especially when I'm telling you Rabbis have LASER BEAMS COMING OUT OF THEIR EYES or told God to fuck off because he was reading the bible totally wrong, or have a halachic obligation to pleasure their wives sufficiently often. I'm curious to know if people think I'm actually making this stuff up :) But, I AM NOT MAKING THIS UP. Django runs on MAGIC PONY POWER:
