When someone asks me "which X is the easiest to use?" I want to know who will be using it. That makes a bigger difference than the sorts of X available.
In the specific example of gaming class, I actually believe that most people have a One True Class and it's up to them to try a few things and see what makes most intuitive sense. (Mine's well-armored healer, so I've played cleric when it's available and paladin or priest when it's not. It really bothers me not to have any healing options available, in the rare instances I've played other classes.)
