jack* The television announcer, describing an upcoming episode of big bang theory, says Howard dreams about becoming the first nerd in space. Seriously? I mean, astronauts are ideally air force pilots, but air force pilots who (a) are also scientists and (b) volunteer to sit in a small box for months, just because no-one's done it before. Does Mr Announcer seriously think that's non-nerdy? Some people pay $20 million of their own money for a one-off suborbital space flight. Cool, yes, but hardly non-nerdy.
* Apparently goldfinger's plot is to detonate a dirty bomb in fort knox, thus bringing economic chaos, and massively increasing the worth of his own gold. Because the gold can't be used, just has to be kept in a concrete vault for 50 years. But.. it's already kept in a concrete vault. It's like, the one thing which just as well when you hide it out of sight forever.
