Stupidity

When will I learn? The answer is -- 99% of the time -- something obvious and stupid. Not quite "check the computer is on", but "check you're editing the right file" and "remember in $programminglanguage you access a variable with $syntax, and $othersyntax tends to do $disaster"

More stupidity

Further, when will I get priorities straight? I think foo is the way to do something, and don't stop to think that if it's suddenly unreasonable difficult bar would be *nearly* as good, and give me time for $madeupwordrepresentingarbitrary concept. I was doing some perl scripts that do automatic building, and thought it would be better that output is simultaneously written to screen and log file. But this took ages to figure out, and while interesting, ended up being a forking[1] disaster for productivity.

Even more stupidity

My general procrastination, whether to use C++ or not, and so forth shall be reserved for future stupid[1] spod.

And I dreamt I wore a tie to work but took it off because I was hot. Go figure, interpretations? :)
