I'm not sure about the Cambridge one but I know the chap who runs the London ones (I knew him about six years ago before he changed his name and became a standup comic).
I went to their show in Edinburgh and I think "well-meaning but vague" is about right. There was a lot of singing along with '80s pop songs, a pattycake game and lots of very very enthusiastic jumping up and down and exhorting. It was a bit like a wedding reception for the child of a happy clappy cult preacher.
