Oh yay, excellent plan, I'm really pleased it worked!
I do have a change of clothes in the office just in case, in a similar fit of planning-ahead, although our standard of presentable is low enough I don't normally worry about it. But if I fall in the river, or my clothes split on the seams, or something, it's nice to have a convenient back-up.
