Event - NTL broadband
Oct. 1st, 2004 11:04 amThings one half of NTL might reasonably be expected to tell the other but didn't:
The office didn't tell the engineer we had had cable in the house before.
The engineer didn't tell the office he was running late.
The office didn't ask the engineer if he was running late (but told me they did when I rang them)
No-one told the engineer the NTL servers seemed to be down at the moment.
No-one told the engineer why you have to connect to the modem by ethernet OR usb but never both or what would happen if you tried.
However, we have a connection; hopefully when NTL get their end together we'll be able to register and actually have internet in the house!
