Soemtimes things do go right
May. 23rd, 2006 01:24 pmYesterday things weren't especially good. I was worrying about CTS, eyes glazing over from the computer monitor, and croquet was rained off. Then I remembered I'd left a coat at work for such situations, got out in the warm clean rain, had pizza with pesto on it, and played robo rally[1][2].
Today everything felt better, and people are cuddly. I came out of my door, the clouds slid away from the sun, the wind died down apart from what I made by cycling fast, the cars at the Golden Hind junction were backed up into double figures in all directions, and I came round them and over the pededestrian side in about thirty seconds with the lights changing on command. I love being Reeve :)
[1] Which is very fun, though -- and I'm a bad culprit -- really needs to be quicker to be worth it. I think it's best saved for wakes, when you want to waste hours :)
[2] It started as a joke, but we voted on if we should play games post pizza :)
