Sweden and Eastercon
Apr. 5th, 2010 07:36 pmI'm back from Jewish itinerenting in Sweden and from Eastercon. Liv and I met her friends in Sweden, and saw the Rubens exhibition in the national gallery, and she came to the first day or so of Eastercon with me. At Eastercon
- I felt much more relaxed, confident I knew what I wanted to do and not to have to rush round worrying that I was missing something
- Ben Goldacre was very funny (despite a couple of very awkward moments) and several other panels as well, and Mitch Ben very very funny
- I saw speak guests Alastair Reynolds, Liz Williams, Ken MacLeod and Iain Banks, who were all very interesting
- A small but sufficient number of interesting questions were asked
- I bought _no_ books
- I met lots of lovely people
- I generally had an awesome time
