Today I actually DID meet someone going to St Ives.

Presumably not the St Ives originally eponymously gone to in the infamous "puzzle" poem, as opposed to the Cornwall St Ives. Although I supposed it could be the Cambridge St Ives.

And presumably they didn't think I have seven wives. Although I suppose I do have friends with at least seven concurrent relationships, just not legally sanctioned (or necessarily eternal) ones.

But the thing that stood out for me, as I've ranted on many occasions before, is that when I met someone going to St Ives WE WERE GOING IN THE SAME DIRECTION!

What I found most useful was the BBC page listing the major and minor parties manifestos side-by-side in order to see what they actually say, both in terms of what they say, and on which topics they have introduced any specifics and which just have general ideologies.

I don't know how accurate it is, but it is at least a small start to studying some of the issues, so long as I can't read a manifesto and hold it all in my head at once.

For instance, Labour, Conservative, and Lib Dem compared on the economy.

Key priorities of UKIP, BNP and Green

It's interesting to see where the small parties list ideologies, and where I agree and disagree, for instance UKIP on environment is "yay nature" but "disbelieve climate change" etc. But probably more useful for skimming the major parties and looking for any details.
