* The television announcer, describing an upcoming episode of big bang theory, says Howard dreams about becoming the first nerd in space. Seriously? I mean, astronauts are ideally air force pilots, but air force pilots who (a) are also scientists and (b) volunteer to sit in a small box for months, just because no-one's done it before. Does Mr Announcer seriously think that's non-nerdy? Some people pay $20 million of their own money for a one-off suborbital space flight. Cool, yes, but hardly non-nerdy.
