jackI've moved into my new house (32 Acrefield Drive) and handed my key in to Trinity. I am *no longer* at university. Except I physcially am right now because I have a key card for the next year so can use the college computers for a bit and set my laptop up in the common room.
I haven't unpacked yet -- I need to do stuff like buying planks and making bookshelves. But I've sorted out the most urgent of the utilities, following the left hand wall through various automated phone menus and conversations with dumb-sounding welshmen. (Notice I'm not saying he *was* dumb, or that *msot* welshmen sound dumb, but that he was both. And somehow any heavy accept seems to help the dumbness, especially if there's a lot of background noise.)
I'm going on holiday for a couple of days with mum *right now*. We'll look for a B&B on the east coast, and be back on thu or fri. (I may or may not be out counter-circle. Anyone can run White Wyvern if they want.)
Apologies to rochvelleth, Naath, Risa and anyone else I owe email or LJ comment replies to, I've been moving all weekend and the new house doesn't have email. I'll reply when I come back. If you want to contact me before friday, use my mobile. Postcards will be sent to anyone texting me their address.
