Thanks again for all the advice. We have decided to go with NTL because they can connect us in one rather than six weeks. The free phoneline offer disappeared ("ran out of connections"), but they knock £50 of the price. *shrug*. Just remind me to cancel BT (unless we want a phoneline).

Trinity has finally cut me off completely. I can check email (1) for one hour out of 24 at the public library (2) by 'borrowing' my neighbours wireless[1] or (3) visiting friends and saying "While I'm here..."
The point being, that if I ignore you, it's nothing personal :)

There's also (sometimes) (sometimes iffy) wifi (best on the top floor).
