jackLast night, however, it rained really quite an awful lot. About half way to my friend's house I gave up cycling because the wind was too strong and sideways and the rain was too stinging in my face, and too obscuring. I was literally soaked to the skin. Memo to self: before going out, think if the weather is getting worse or better.
One more book is a little the worse for wear, being dried out but rather distorted. So I might as well read in the bath. I have books because I want to use them round and about. Having them beautiful and pristine is nice, but only a bonus, to be acquired if possible.
