Several people recommended this to me; I watched the first two episodes last night. It seemed very promising.

It felt like a slightly slow start -- I want to know what's happening already. If I'd rented the DVDs I would have watched on immediately. But I loved all of the characters (especially the Indian and the Japanese man and the cop); thought the powers were well thought out; loved the brooding feeling it portrayed; loved the armaggeddon forshadowing -- here is something important to worry about; and also the other paintings, having an intermittent precognition explains everyone meeting up extremely well, without any need for weird coincidence.

I made a little graph of the main characters, and how they're connected; it's spiralling together.

I've been looking forward to seeing Heroes for ages - so many people seem to love it - so far so good. I enjoyed the first two episodes a lot and think it's going to be very good.

Likewise, though I was only recently persuaded. I'd heard people talk of it before, but there are several popular shows that just seemed a bit pointless (for me, lost, though I still haven't seen it) and only recently did people whose opinions I trust to accord with mine explain. I was going to try to rent the DVDs from amazon. I didn't know it was on until I saw the trailer on tue.

PS. I hope you're feeling ok; is the cranberry working?
