* I was nearly in tears at Londo and G'Kar when Narn was invaded. Apparently it really is LOTR, nothing else gives me shivers like that.

* Wait. All this time I'd assume Sheridan had decoyed the Black Star into a minefield with a Minbari distress signal. Which sounds definitely dodgy, and acceptable or not depending on the level of rules followed in the war. But according to jms comments, it was an earth distress signal, the Minbari were going to attack. What the hell have they been whining about all this time, then?

* Londo apparently really didn't see G'Kar as an Angel. I assumed he just didn't want to admit it.

* Malcolm is cool, though sometimes annoying. What's with his accent? It sounds like a fake English accent -- but apparently is real. Is that just because it's posh?

Perhaps; if you broadcast a distress signal and an enemy ship moves towards you in response, they might be about to save the crew's lives rather than deliver the death blow, and so nuking them before finding out which might be considered unsporting. On the other hand, since the Minbari gave every appearance of their objective being total human genocide, Sheridan was reasonably justified in ruling out that possibility.

I'd always assumed that the Minbari objected on grounds of some sort of honour: winning by trickery rather than in a "fair" fight. (A common complaint throughout the ages from people with more muscle than brain, who have a vested interest in muscle being the only acceptable way to win battles so that they won't be defeated by people with more brain than muscle.)

Doh, you know what I mean :) (PS. Congratulations on the name, it seems to suit you, too.) "Marcus" suits him, but "Malcolm" is just more stereotypically annoying so it slipped out there.

It's annoying, because I like him too, but he still annoys me. I guess that's the point.
