Wow, things happened!

It concentrated on just Matt and Ted and the Bennett family, it was maybe more engaging for that reason (though I suppose we should find out what happened to Peter and Simone and Isaac soon...)

So was exciting. I do like the Haitian. And interesting -- we find out about who Mr. Bennett is, and Claude and the Haitian are. It feels like things fall into place.

Will Matt (and friends) and Mr. Bennett (and friends) find some common ground now and compare notes? That would be helpful.

Sigh. It's impossible to read anything without reading spoilers. "...introduced a new character with the power [...], though that will only be shown next episode" Thanks. "The teaser showed..." doh.

A few things bugged me, extrapolation shows about half will be cleared up and half not. Couldn't the Haitian shut Ted down, wiping out his memory of the last few minutes, as soon as he got into the house? When Matt and Mr. Bennett were upstairs, couldn't Matt have gone down, and told Ted he was getting somewhere with Mr. Bennett, and to watch the others, and then had hours to learn everything from Bennett without interruption? Where was techno-girl?

What's with the organisation? So far we've just seen them containing people with powers, what do they *do* with them? Kidnapping people and drugging them and then letting them go doesn't seem optimal to either getting their cooperation, nor keeping them quiet.

How big is this organisation? What happens to the gifted people in it? Everyone seems concerned to keep their loved ones out of it, so it's ominous, and yet they don't just, you know, stop kidnapping people.

We know that the organization employs some super-people and keeps the more dangerous ones on ice; I think we can infer it kills some of them. Control suggested their internally-perceived motive was protecting the public at large.

"The company" very often refers to the CIA, though it's possible it's not meant in that sense here.

Hm. That could make it all make sense. But then why are people scared, Clare seems as harmless as it can be, but HRG is scared to let them know about her.

I inferred it was supposed to be a similarly grey organisation, but entirely private. But it could perfectly well be CIA-founded or CIA-funded or CIA-run, it would fit all the facts whatever Mr. Bennett said.

Presumably they recruit them by means of an offer they can't refuse, if all else fails.

Yeah.

But they seemed to have let Matt and Ted wander around free. Was that just Mr Bennett being generous?

Use of the Haitian does suggest they generally liked non-lethal solutions where available.
