jackTonight and tomorrow I've no plans. Tomorrow, I might go into town and browse borders -- good to have a look at some books and see if I like them, before buying. I've also a backlog of books I *definitely* want, I'm owed an Amazon order as soon as I have time to type it in. Sunday, there's maybe a bridge session, and maybe an Adam tea-party/party -- I need to work out how many I can go to and let them know :)
I need a haircut, and I can't be bothered to go to the barber. I wanted to go on a weekday morning when it'd be quieter, but haven't had the chance. I may try to go this weekend, or just shave everything off again (sorry rcv1). No-one wants to help, do they? :)
I'm definitely better at bridge, but see a vast vista of skill stretched ahead of me that I've yet to internalise. It's interesting: any specific hand you *can* work out the correct strategy with a little analysis, but with experience, you can see it at a glance. This isn't always the case, eg. in chess, an amateur with a day/move wouldn't beat an expert with 5 min per, there's just too much to remember. Of course, this means that it's difficult to give less experienced players advice -- whatever you say in always too detailed :)
