Scorching Earth, a flash puzzle game where you play as a forest fire.
Fantastic Contraption, a very pretty mechanics game: build things out of wheels and rods and water, bouncily and convincingly

Date: 2008-08-19 12:47 pm (UTC)I've played Scorching Earth, too. Some of the puzzles were surprisingly tricky. It's not as good as that time-travelling robots one you posted a while back, though :)

I thought it was elegant, simple, well-designed and ingeniously conceived (and really hard), but the latest in a long line of very good non-pirate non-timetravel games, rather than something unique :)
