I knew I forgot a good one.

FIREWALKING!

And I know it's technically the 6th, though numbered 11, but I don't care. This morning I re-read The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time, and immediately nitpicked the fictional, disabled, narrator (chapters are ordinal numbers, not cardinals, right?), so I've got my pedent points for the day.

Oh yeah. I was sure it wasn't. Oops.

I'm glad I stocked up on pedant points.

Well, I don't tend to *read* my *own* lj at all. Only now has that become a problem... ;)

Not even while you're writing it? I guess that explains the typos :D

Yup, ordinals. (First, second, third and so on. But you've done more maths than I have. :)

You've reminded me of the time I read The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time last Christmas, and was left with mixed feelings about the book. I might try to find a copy again and see what it was that I wasn't so fond of.

Yes, but I've forgotten a lot since I started working. It seemed out of character that he would have got that wrong :)

After all, there is an argument that the Chapter 2 represents "2 chapters of the book" rather than "2nd chapter" though it does seem like mainly chapters do rperesent an ordering...
