I kid, I kid. But for ages I've been making the point that I dislike the man because of the policies, not because he looks and acts like an idiot -- I often look and act like an idiot. It's just that the really funny cheap and unjustified digs always seem to be funnier when directed at him than, well, anyone else.

Well, it's finally happened, if rather late. There's a page that convincingly makes me laugh at Kerry more than Bush.

*laughs muchly* After seeing how wound up people can get about politics, I have tended to stay away from expressing a political opinion on these things, but this was extremely funny! :D :D

Oh, I know how bad it can get sometimes, but (1) I do like an occasional political discussion when it's *not* acrimonious and (2) I barely expressed an opinion here. I said I didn't like Bush, but surely I'm allowed to have that much opinion? I said he looked like an idiot, but I made it clear that that didn't mean he was, just that, like me, he comes across like that often, which provides a handy lightning rod for people who want to make fun of us :)

LOL Don't worry, not accusing you of being a raging political campaigner! Just want to cover my own butt before someone stabs me for giggling at Kerry (have seen it happen to others before! *grins*)

No, I didn't think you were. Oh yes, I suppose someone might object to that; but surely all my friends are too sensible[1]?

For that matter, though I know Kerry is very popular, I don't actually know anyone personally who has a particular great respect for him. Most of my friends seem to fit into the "A non-republican president was needed urgently" camp, some by default and some more cogently.

[1] Irony :) Though parody can be the highest form of flattery.
