Paul of Tarsus

The reason was, we were playing "put all the names in the hat and then play articulate with them", which was really, really hilarious. The suggested guideline was people who are semi-famous, people everyone have heard of, which was definitely right (there were one or two only half of people had heard of, and the others were generally known, and being more obscure definitely wouldn't have been better).
I'm used to being the person who's never heard of famous people, but this time it was the other way round. I don't know why I wrote "of Tarsus" rather than "the apostle", it just sounded right at the moment, but I was mildly embarrassed that when the name came out later the general reaction (at least without context) seemed to be "huh?", and I wondered how obscure I'd been.
