English test
May. 13th, 2005 01:31 pmI am mainly amused to see that 'higher' means 'strictly higher'. Though I also wonder, if this test ranks me '100% expert' what rank people who use punctuation would be awarded[1]!
[1] That reminds me a little of at primary school being asked to rank ourselves from 1 (none) to 5 (expert) on knowledge in various areas, including cmoputers, for which I put, I think, 3, on the gorunds that I could use BASIC and a little bit of machine code, but nothing more, and wondering if 2 would be better, and everyone else putting 4 or 5 -- except the other way round.
| English Genius You scored 100% Beginner, 100% Intermediate, 100% Advanced, and 100% Expert! |
| You did so extremely well, even I can't find a word to describe your excellence! You have the uncommon intelligence necessary to understand things that most people don't. You have an extensive vocabulary, and you're not afraid to use it properly! Way to go! Thank you so much for taking my test. I hope you enjoyed it!
