jackMachete is hilarious. It's obviously gory and violent, a bit too much for me, and much too much for many people, although not as gory and violent as it might have been. But it embraces larger-than-life characters, plot and action and is generally fun to watch if you don't mind the schlockness.
It's also obviously not very politically correct in lots of ways, although it does better than many films: it even passes the Bechdel test, and several of the female characters are decisive and proactive a lot of the time. And although lots of people are killed, they're generally killed by bad people, or only when it's actually necessary.
One character used unicode characters in a password! Unfortunately, it was "Iā„Katie", which isn't very high-brow, or very plausible, and from the way not-very-tech-literate Machete typed it without hesitating on the second guess, it wasn't that the producers cared less than average about how keyboards work, rather than more :)
