Hm, less annoying but less spectacular than the last two episodes. But still annoying.
It's so strange that science fiction has started going back in time to the 1980s. And they have to explain what it was like. But nice that the USSR submarine was portrayed the same way a NATO one would have been.
It was interesting to have a "monster loose on the ship" that was presented as a person from the start. Although they could have done better, for instance not saying "it".
If they admitted they were going to die anyway, maybe they should have tried to open the hatches or knock the submarine off the ledge earlier. But maybe that wouldn't have worked.
