MOT recommendations

The garage I used near work for the last two years moved out to a larger but less central location. Has anyone used a garage that did a service+MOT and seemed reasonable? Preferably near south Chesterton or Newmarket Road?

I use Auto-Mech for simple stuff (including servicing and MOTs) and Barr-Tech for the tricky bits (timing belt changes, fiddly suspension work, reliably diagnosing and fixing urgent problems.

Neither is right on your home or office door-steps, but then again neither is catastrophically distant.

Oh, and the somewhat less conveniently located Cambridge Performance Tyres for tyres, balancing and alignment. When I'm in Cambridge. I also have a tyre place in Huntingdon which won't interest you. (-8
