Pound coin keyring

jackI tried the pound coin keyring in the locker at the gym and it didn't work. Well done to the locker designers.
Although I'm not really sure "use of a gym locker" is something worth preventing theft of, since you get your coin back anyway. I can't think of any reason someone would want to *regularly* lock a locker and walk off, I can't see any way they benefit, and if they want to do it just once as a prank, they could just use a £1.
Unfortunately, that means I need to go back to keeping £1 in my wallet and remembering to get it out.
Or to drill a whole in an actual £1. I think that's not treason any more, but is a lot of trouble to go to...
