Woo, go Thor! Also yum.
I love lines like "perhaps next time we should start with the big one," that sound like actual banter, not playing to the audience.
Yay Thor/Sif platonic friendship. Sif has actual warrior armour, and more of an identity than "the female one", though I still think she should have MORE of her own identity.
Woo, go Jane! Love interest who's her own character/
Woo go Heimdall! Heim-dall, Heim-dall! Screw those guys, heimdall film pls kthx!
Woo, go Freya!
:(
Omg, more Thor+Loki!
Yes, yes, that's it, now even more please!
Also, more rogue guy.
How is Loki so effective at taunting? He knows thor should ignore him. Thor knows that. I know that. So why am I screaming "hit him, hit him"? Because he's just that good.
Oh no, inevitable Loki betrayal. Come on Loki, do a double betrayal, quadruple betrayal, any even parity, you can do it!
Woo, zero betrayal! Did NOT see that coming.
Loki, nooooooo! :(
Omg, manly trouserless sympathy hug!
Woo, destruction of landmark other than tower bridge or big ben tower!
Fights are very well written. Thor's hammer is portraryed as powerful but not omnipotent. Genuine tension and genuine kick-assery without much fudging.
Oh, look, I'm analysing the choreography. That's because elf guy is boring. I love all the other characters, but yadda yadda yadda dark plan yadda. Didn't we have this last film with the frost giants?
Thor on tube train! So cute!
Doh! Didn't think Loki was likely to have actually died, but thought maybe I was wrong.
Oh well, he'll make an ok king I guess. Hopefully he stops killing people now he HAS power.
Post credits #1: Don't know who that guy is or why they trust him.
Post credits #2: Bifrost please be Thor not monster, please be Thor not monster whew.
Overall, pretty good, all good bits, no bad bits, not blown away, but think it will grow on me a lot.

Date: 2014-06-16 12:58 pm (UTC)I don't know why: the film seemed to do very well at bringing out little character moments in minor characters, but didn't manage it for him.
