I have the weird habit that when I'm reading long text on a computer, I tend to compulsively select text, both by double/treble clicking and click+dragging. And also by right-clicking and cancelling. It's not usually anything to do with what I'm reading, I don't highlight the interesting bits or anything, just random bits. Do anyone/everyone else do that?

But that means I'm always REALLY ANNOYED by websites that that disable or change select or right-click because it pops up all the time when I'm trying to read, even if they had no particular reason to expect me to do that.

I know people with dyslexia who use this as an aid to help them read on screens, so I don't think you're the only one.

I do this on purpose to keep my place. I started after someone mentioned it as learning disability hack and I do find that it helps make reading long wall of text online easier.
