In summary, an american high-school football stadium's visitor's locker room is completely pink. Now it's a tradition, the idea being it's offputting to opposing teams.

However, a female professor says this is degrading to women. Isn't there something backwards about that?

Ah, ok. Yes, it looks fairly normal there. About the same as the 'light red' walls I tease a friend about :) All the fixtures being pink must be surreal though.

The women's team? I don't know. I obviously know they're typically comparatively ignored in american school because men's football is so traditional, but I don't know how that'd translate into changing rooms or offense.

It oculd be said they're encouraging male football players not to mix their whites and coloureds when they're washing their clothes.
