How much have other people been socialising in person?

Now I consider it fairly safe, who else wants to come visit on our patio furniture for an hour or so (with optional masks and optional drinks)?

Ooh! It's now easier from Kings X by train! But we have been across London a fair bit so probably not as safe as others

Not on public transport!

How long does it take to pedal up to North Cambridge?

I just looked it up: 5 hours at the 'granny pace' that I do all day...

Hmmmmm...

If it was four hours, I would do it: I like spending a long day in the saddle! But sixty miles, twice, is a bit too much.

A small amount. And always at a distance of 2m - sitting outside.

If I lived near you I'd happily do that on your patio :-)

Yay!

We often go to the Leyton Jubilee Park near here which is pretty with parking, and tiny cafe with loo, and possible walks to the river and canal: https://www.walthamforest.gov.uk/content/leyton-jubilee-park. If we avoid the sunny weekend peak times it should be nice, what do you thunk? We are free most of the time over the next few weeks

There are also 3 small parks with benches very close to the flat

Our timetable is very flexible at the moment, Sat 26th afternoon works great. Past observations in the local parks make it obvious that sunny weekends are busiest - we would not have a problem staying 2 m away from others but there might not be free benches or many free parking spaces. Should you be able to come over on a weekday I am sure it would be quieter. Let me know what you prefer.
