Reccommend to me one story you've written that you're proud of, any genre, however old or new, here on my LJ.

Then - if you like - go forth and ask the same in yours.

If you can't decide, choose two. Not being good is not an excuse not to do it :)

The best story I have ever written was The Eggs of 113, which is SF (most of mine are either that or comic fantasy). If I've got it here at work - which I possibly have - I will e-mail it.

Probably the only story I've written that qualifies is an obscure piece I wrote for a computer game... about the origin of an artifact within it.

For context - note that Nuurag Vaarn is one of the late-game bosses.

Wow, my kind of villain! Insufficient people are corrupted by a too great love of knowledge, that was very cool. Of course, I'm sure I mostly miss the point having never played ADOM, but I enjoyed a lot anyway.

Thanks :) I wrote this while bored in the chemistry library over a few days.

The first piece of fiction, an Eddings AH, with which I was happy was …and a time to change.

I'm afraid I have the feeling I would need to have read any Eddings to have any idea what's going on :(

ROFL: atreic:shakespeare::couplets:iambicpentamer :) That was funny, though the rhyming gave me a headache after 5 minutes, it definitely needs to be performed.

I think the highlight was trying to fit the five syllables of "Happy Ever After" into the tune of "Y M C A" :-)

Horribly, horribly out of date... I'll need to do something about this at some point. (Poetry technically, but there you go..)

Thanks! OK, those actually were sad, I never normally click with poems. But I don't feel like sad at the moment; I'll postpone the rest.

Yay! I didn't get into it at first, but I liked it once James appeared. I read Breaking the Rules too -- that was beautifully funny :)

Who else would codify dating so exactly? :) (ie. Other than me, or her; not necessarily you :))

Wow. I was thinking I must have read everything you've written, and not expecting anything. Something new was more than I hoped for :)

:) I hope it pleases. Inevitably not as good as Mothicle 1 of course, because sequels never are ;)

*Occasionally* they are. I'm sure there was a previous discussion on what if any were good examples :)
