I tend to like cheese the harder and stronger it is, to first approximation infinite. Ie. imagine a singularity at (parmesan, parmesan) which represents an unreachable deadly infinity, and the "closer" (ie. larger on either axis but still finite) the better.

I am currently eating piave vecchio from Tesco's, which is quite nice. Any suggestions? :)

So you die of rapturous delight every time someone offers you parmesan?

You'd think, but apparently limits and integrals don't necessarily commute :)

[livejournal.com profile] garath_jj was recently telling me about a cheddar from the Cambridge Cheese Company which was *too strong* when put in sandwiches in 1mm thick slices. I feel I too must investigate :)

Hmm. Indeed. There's more to life than chedder, but it can be very very nice. Though I don't know how they'll take me if I walk in with a lot of infinity metaphors, and no names :)

(Have you read three men in a boat?)

I've always settled for things like New Zealand Special Reserve Cheddar (in 0.5cm slices)...
