Lemon cake

I'm supposed to bring a dessert to a party on Sat. I will buy something from Marks and Spencer's. But it feels like a complete cop-out not to even try to make one.

I've never made sweet things, all my cooking has been main-course-y, because desert is nice, but I don't care as much as some people. So I might yet try. It should ideally be moist and made ENTIRELY OUT OF LEMONS.

Does anyone want to help me on sat aft...??

Extensive research at work has proven that, if one is not making one's own dessert, Marks and Spencer and Waitrose are streets ahead of other vendors. Not that we eat cake or anything...
