Since much of my life is described on my LJ one way or another anyway, I have formed the habit of recording a basic diary here too so I can always check what I did on a given day, which is often useful for remembering anniversaries, necessary renewals, holidays, etc.

Previously I made private posts to my LJ, but since "what I did last night" isn't private, just not of interest to anyone but me and a few close friends/family I don't email as often as I'd like, it would make sense if people didn't see it by default, but could do so if they chose to. I know there are better technical solutions but don't have time to decide on one, so for now it goes in the community [livejournal.com profile] cartesian_notes, and anyone interested can friend it.

Honestly, it's boring :)

I guess what I want to say is:

(1) But if you want to know what geeky events I get up to, you might want to see :)
(2) Ideally it would be in my main journal, with a tag, which automatically is filtered out, but I can't create filters for you. But if you have a random shit non-person filter (friends group) as I do, you can add it to that.
