jackSince much of my life is described on my LJ one way or another anyway, I have formed the habit of recording a basic diary here too so I can always check what I did on a given day, which is often useful for remembering anniversaries, necessary renewals, holidays, etc.
Previously I made private posts to my LJ, but since "what I did last night" isn't private, just not of interest to anyone but me and a few close friends/family I don't email as often as I'd like, it would make sense if people didn't see it by default, but could do so if they chose to. (1) But if you want to know what geeky events I get up to, you might want to see :)
(2) Ideally it would be in my main journal, with a tag, which automatically is filtered out, but I can't create filters for you. But if you have a random shit non-person filter (friends group) as I do, you can add it to that.
