I feel I know you well enough to have problems thinking of a random question :) Now that you've left uni have you stopped going along to society meetings, or are you using your status as an alumnus to advantage?

True. Though you can know amazingly little about even good friends sometimes, it's a good meme; if you never talk about pre-uni life, for instance, you never know about it. *thinks* I should actually describe who I used to be to everyone one day, I've changed quite a lot.

No.

Specifically, I'm still going to a lot of societies (poohsoc, tolkien, dancing pre-eminent), but haven't exactly levered my alumniness to any benefit. It is true that working 8 hours a day concentrates the mind -- it's very clear that I go to what I enjoy doing, and don't go to anything just for the sake of it. Which I guess has led to slightly more committee involvement, but that's due to change of attitude in me, not of me.
