I reread the last couple of books. I probably should get up to speed before the last one, as I'm definitely fascinated by the series whether it's objectively good or not.

I have seen some great analyses of Jordon; where are they of Harry Potter? A nice list of outstanding questions, with arguments for and against, rather than just someone espousing one particular theory.

I'll leave out speculation about what's going to happen, and just wonder about what's happened.

* Is Snape evil now?
* What is the last Horcrux?
* Has the locket in fact been destroyed?
* What happens when you die?

Is there anything else outstanding?

Why would Dumbledore ask Snape to kill him?

Remember earlier in the book when Dumbledore makes Harry force him to drink the stuff in the cup to get to the locket? It's a poison.

Dumbledore is already dying.

If nothing further had happened, Dumbledore would have died as a result of something Harry did. How would Harry possibly have dealt with that after Sirius' death?

If what was meant to happen had happened, Dumbledore would have died as a result of something Draco did.

By doing what he did, Snape saved both Harry and Draco from being guilty of killing Dumbledore.
