Harry Potter -- Horcruxes

* I shall assume Dumbledore's confident guesses are correct.
* That makes Horcruxes 1-4 the diary, ring, locket, and cup.
* And Horcrux 6 the snake.
* At the time Voldemort was attacking baby Harry, he had two Horcruxes left to make.
* He had hoped to find relics from Gryffindor and Ravenclaw, but probably didn't.
* He was probably intending to make a Horcrux from Harry's death.
* But was interrupted in the middle of that by dying.

Well, I thought the "Harry is a Horcrux" theory was painful when I first heard it, but it sounds pretty conclusive now. Things that fit with that are:

* Harry has a link to V.
* Harry has some of V's powers, like the diary and the snake do.
* Harry helped V return to life.

Of course, that makes killing V problematic. What happens if you destroy all the other horcruxes and V's body? Maybe they both *will* die. Or maybe Harry's part of V's soul is good now. Or maybe they can froblicate the horcrux out of H without killing him.

Isn't there an internationally recognised LARP signal for "Everyone stop where they are and read HP for seven hours"?

I'm seriously considering taking some brown paper to cover the book, and reading it in character.

Sounds good to me. I mean, it is fiction, maybe it can exist *in* character :)
