Things I have seen recently:

- a shoal of canoes paddling up a weir in Chester. (It was nearing high tide, so it was _just_ possible with a big run up and a bit of scrabbling at the top.)

- an old fashioned elevator with a manual door in the science library in the new museums site

- sunshine

- a regency ball (congrats Alicia!)

- mum and dad
