I filled in the census online. In the unlikely event that you stop overnight with me on the 27th March, remind me to amend my answers.

In fact, I'm generally impressed by the census -- yes, a lot of questions aren't as specific as they could be if you don't fit the most common boxes, and a couple of questions have raised (justified) outrage, but in general it's clear, quick and helpful, and the website is functional and pretty, which is good going compared to many governments' forms.

It's just possible that I may be in your house on 27th March, for example if we end up going back to yours after the wedding. But I agree it's fairly unlikely.

Aw, snuggles! I agree, I should do the census soon so that I don't forget, because there is really unlikely to be anyone else in my house on 27th, and I don't think anything will change.

Ah, I sort of assumed that they wanted to know where people were on the calendar date of the 27th, ie after midnight on Saturday night would count, and I'd still be there by first thing on Sunday morning even if I end up leaving really really early.

But I think what will probably happen is Friday night at yours and Saturday night in Shelford, even if it is somewhat pointless and annoying. There are various reasons for this, none of which is certain, but that is probably what will happen.
